I purchased a HD front stabilizer kit for my 53 Ford sedan from JAMCO. They do not manufacture the FSB53F kit, they sell it for Hellwig Products in Visalia, CA. I had trouble with their mounting hardware and JAMCO was not at all helpful. I fabricated what I needed and the bar is now mounted to the frame, exactly as instructions dictated. HOWEVER, when lining up the ends to attach to the lower a-frames via the links, I find it too close , almost touching the frames. Can't use the hardware they sent and even if I could fabricate brackets the bar is just too close to the a-frames. Anyone have any similar issues?

I would check with Hellwig. They may have a suggestion for you. Jamco's tech help is the worst and I don't know how they stay in business. I have friends that bought their products and they would never do business with them again. They were missing parts ,etc and had a terrible time getting what they needed.
