Topic: 40 Ford Parking brake

When I purchased my 40 Ford the parking brake did not work. I purchased the missing parts that mate the hand cable to the equalizer. I have tightened the fish eye turnbuckle all the way to the end of the thread and there is still slack in the cable and no engagement of the parking brake.
Does anyone have any suggestions

By your message, I must assume the regular brakes worked. Yes? If so:
Did you tighten the yoke at the hand brake lever as well? If you have tightened both yokes, then one or both of the cables is stretched. Typically, the rear cable gets stretched out before the front one.
If a cable(s) is stretched to far to no longer allow for proper adjustment, you will need to replace it.

Yes, the brakes do work OK. How and where do I tighten the yoke at the hand brake.

Look up under the dash and you will quickly see the yoke at the end of the cable (attached) to the hand brake lever.
While the yoke is larger than the one beneath your car, it is adjusted in the same way.
