  can anyone explain the battery connection terminals to me. i am not familiar with the positive / negative on mt 1932 ford sedan?

  Not quite sure of your question. Early Fords such as the 1932 used a positive ground system. Modern cars use a negative ground. What do you need to know?

  The ground strap goes from the positive post on the battery to the frame. The positive post is slightly larger in diameter. The negative terminal on the battery is connected with a battery cable to the starter switch. Be sure to use a ground strap and cable designed for 6 volts, the 12 volt straps and cables are smaller. If this doesn't explain what you need please post again.

  While you can attach the ground strap to the chassis frame, that is not where it was attached when your car was built. There is a threaded boss on the upper left hand corner of the bottomless cup that attaches the front of the rear axle torque tube to the back of the transmission and that is where the ground strap was originally attached with a 5/16-18 x 3/4" hex bolt and lock washer.

Thanks for the correction, I must have been thinking of my Model A. A good idea for a driver would be to run the strap to the point you suggest and add one from that point to the frame. In my opinion, you can never have too many grounds with 6 volts.
