I have a 1935 Ford/Seagrave with a flat head engine. The engine will just quit runner after going just a few miles. It act like it runs out of gas. It has a electric fuel pump added. I have had the carburetor rebuilt and the original fuel pump rebuilt. It will start up and run after sitting for a short time most of the time, other times I will have to jump start it. I took the electric fuel pump off thinking that may be the problem, it still would shut down. Could it be fuel problem or electrical problem or some other problem. I am not a mechanic. Any help would be greatly appreciated on what to do or what to trouble shoot.

refer to the post by PBGilmore6 in today's forum. It sounds like you have a similar problem.
