Is it possible to have door locks reconfigured or replaced so my existing ignition or trunk key will fit? I see that replacing both lock cylinders is a possibility, but would like to keep my ign key.

the key code on the lock cylindar should allow you to do that. Pull one of the door locks by removing the small screw behind the opening under the door gasket. A good, old time locksmith should be able to help. Now -- a locksmith should also be able to move the pins around to match the ignition coding without removing the ignition cylindar.
