I showed pics of a bulging cased generator recently and got one response quickly. Now, in "search" and using my username I can't find the posting I made about this generator at all. If anyone posted an answer after the one response and my answer to it, I would appreciate them reposting their answer in this posting. The 1937 Ford Book pics this generator as used in assembly during 1937 in less than 10% of cars. Only response I got implied this generator as not used in 1937 pass. cars. I would think a high output gen. would be appropriate for "mostly in town use" restored cars.

I do agree your generator was used in about 10% of production. As I posted in my second response to your original question. There are two slightly different pulleys for your generator 68-10130-A and the 38-9-40 Chassis book list this pulley as replaced by 68-10130-C both pulleys are 4.38" Dia. You may want to contact Southside Obsolete or Job Lot to see if they have either pulley.
