My dad was showing me this wooden gauge that he bought at a yard sale. Sorry I don't have a photo yet. It reads for a 1926 ford or 9 gallon oval tank.
#43 gasoline gauge. Condition is really good. Anyone ever seen one of these??

This was a common item in the days of the model t ford They did not have a fuel guage. Often they were given out free by oil companys, dealers, etc.

Matt, you do find them at swap meets and I believe they may have also been reproduced. I suspect the value may be about $5-10. There's one on e-Bay now for $13, but it's a generic stick. There are several others listed from $20-35 , but they have gas company logos on them. Check completed items for "wooden gas gauge stick". The sold prices will give you an idea of value.
