Need help in removing the door garnish moldings oin a 1939 deluxe coupe. The moldings are held on with clips instead of screws and I have never removed these moldings If any one has detailed instrction I would appreciate it. there was a link to vanpelts website on 40-46 cars but they use screws to hold on the moldings thanks I have attached the passenger doorphoto

These are fairly simple to remove. I suggest pulling them downward a bit as you pull them out - from the top. It'll take a little force but once you have removed one, you'll no longer be apprehensive to tackle this job. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

I'll give it a try tomorrow, I just order new clips from drake today in anticipation of "mishaps" and replacing a molding on the drivers door thanks George
