I'm now trying to find a W/S wiper shaft housing. This is the spacer/housing that fits over the wiper shaft and goes between the wiper motor and the body. I've seen it listed as Ford part number 17543 (Housing Extension). For the LH side. The housing I have is too short and was built up with washers to infill the gap. I need a longer housing. I've placed an ad in the wanted section (not published as of yet). I've looked on all the usual parts catalogues but don't know them all yet. Any suggestions?

None of the wiper rebuilders had the spacer I needed. So, I purchased a short length of 1" aluminum rod and had my buddy use his lathe & milling machine to make one to the same size as the RH original sized spacer.
