Topic: 1940 Ford Question

We own a 1940 Ford Panel truck. It has two doors which open in the back and a bracket on the side of the panel which holds a tire. We don't know if this is a Sedan Delivery or just a plain panel and were wondering if someone could help us out?

Thank You!

You have a panel truck , sedan deliveries have 1 door in the back not 2. ken ct.

Ford had 4 BASIC panels for 1940 134", 122", and both the 112" panel and the 112" sedan delivery. The load space in the 112"panel is much more than the Sedan delivery. The over all length of the 112" panel is 195.45" and the Sedan Delivery 188.25" end of bumper to end of bumper. I believe the Sedan Delivery has the vent windows in the doors and the Panel delivery does not.
