Where can I get the tool for installing the gear shift linkage bushings on a 51 F-1 (and other models)? It used to come with the bushing kit, but no more. I recall you used a hammer with the tool to bend the end of the brass insert over a washer which held the bushing and rubber grommet in place in the end of the shift linkages. If you don't have a source for the tool, how do you install the bushings w/o it? Richard

I've used a small ball peen hammer. Put the round end in the cup of the bushing and then hit the face of the ball peen with another hammer.

Great minds! I had the same idea. Thanks. Richard
