Good Afternoon, I am beginning a rebuild of this motor and see a set of pistons on ebay. They have been sitting in orig box on a shelf for a very long time.

Does anyone know if they would be ok to use after sitting for so long? They have never been run.

Not sure if metal fatigue is an issue from just sitting.

Thanks.

The shelf time wouldn't be an issue, but the size would. Replacement pistons vary from standards to oversize in .010 steps. You need to measure the bore of your block to determine what you have.
