Topic: Proper use of Sea Foam?

Grant    -- 10-30-2014 @ 6:10 AM
Someone on Forum recently recommended putting Sea Foam into the gas tank before a vehicle goes into winter storage.

Are there any specific instructions or recommendations for use of this product?

The Seafoam bottle has the instructions.

As Tom said follow the instructions. The other thing I would add is after it is in the gas tank, let the engine run for a few minutes to assure that it is in the entire fuel delivery system

I like to put Seafoam in the tank and drive the car for about 150 miles and then add another can and fill it up for storage. This helps rid the tank of the water that is in the tank and clean the spark plugs before storage.

I also add Stabil before storage.

  Thank you, Tom and Joe.

Instructions will be followed.

I wish I had time to put 150 miles on each vehicle. Unfortunately that's out of the question........ too many commitments, and not enough time before snow arrives and the roads will be salted.

Yesterday in Michigan I bought five containers of Sea Foam. O'Reilly's currently has it on sale for $7.99 a bottle.
