What locks the seat in position? Mine goes forward and back but does not latch, so you are always held in place with just the motor?? Doesn't seem right.

There should be a handel below the front seat, then when you pull it up it unlocks the seats.I took mine off and have placed sheet metal strips over the locking teeth, but you are right in that the motor is the only thing holding the seat in place. Normaly that is not an issue since I always have it all the way back but, I got to thinking in the event of an accident the seat would go forward alowing the driver to go in to the steering wheel.
