Topic: JAN/FEB V-8 TIMES

Well, I've been waiting for someone to comment on the front cover TYPO with a great photo of a 1936 Ford that somehow suffered a TYPO turning it into a 1933! I do know what a 1936 Ford looks like. Fortunately the line of type blends into the background.

NOTE: Unfortunately it appears some magazines being received by members have missing/duplicate/blank pages. Hopefully this is will not be a BIG problem. Today alone I've been made aware of FIVE and have ordered replacements! If you receive one of these, please contact Cornerstone Registration for a replacement. We will replace damaged, messed up magazines right away. However, it may take 7-10 days before you receive a replacement for your damaged magazine. For missing magazines, we wait for a month from the mailing date, in this case 2/1/2010 for the Jan/Feb issue just to make sure they have had a chance to make it through the USPS system. This is the printer's mistake and I have made them aware of this potential problem!

For those who are keeping track the Jan/Feb issue reached the hills of western Connecticut today, February 10th. All pages present and accounted for.None missing, none duplicated or blank.

My copy arrived in the Atlanta area on Feb.9 in good shape with no blank pages.

that was bad enough, but i expected a 35 ford on the cover for the 75th anniversary.

Well, those in the center of the country (where it is mailed from) got the issue on 2/11/10. Later than usual.
And I got the wrong cover and no missing pages.

Finally received today in the Chicago suburbs. All 104 pages accounted for in proper order. Another terrific issue, Jerry!

My issue of the V-8 Times arrived yesterday, in Fargo, North Dakota, and it has the incorrect labelling of the auto on the cover as a 1933 Ford Fordor. But the rest of the issue is as it should be - no mistakes detected. It is a great issue and I study it thoroughly every time it comes. Thanks for the good work! I realize that printing and assembly errors can occur, but they are usually minimal.

Just looking for clarification on the date. Is the date you posted above the date hey were mailed, or the date they will be a month late? Is the Jan/Feb issuse usually mailed the first part of Jan or the first part of Feb? Just wondering. I have not received mine yet but the mail is always slow getting here.
Thanks, Scott.

I still have not received the JAN/FEB V-8 TIMES here in South Kentucky. TYPOS and missing pages are better than nothing.
