You can buy a new reproduction of the Stromberg 97, or a new Dennis Carpenter model 94 or have your current carburetor professionally rebuilt by Daytona Carburetor or Ken Isador in Connecticut, if you are sure that your problems are carburetor related. Either the 97 or the 94 should work fine on your car, just make sure that you tell the rebuilder about your 3,000 ft requirement. No carburetor will perform correctly with stuck or leaking valves in the engine. I would fix your engine problems first and then you may find that your carburetor will work fine. sanwal
