I am working on installing the window felt on the door frame of my '41 ford fordor. I have not been able to figure out how to attach the clips to the felt frame. Any help would be great.

If you are using a kit, the clips are usually included. If you need the clips, they are available from the usual places. The clip has a round attaching point that is inserted into a round hole in the edge of the door panel. The felt slides into a jaws type opening and the jaws can be closed with pliers. Some felts are held in place with a staple type attachment. You can buy piano wire at any hobby shop of the correct diameter and make your own staples. Or some felts are held in place with small # 4 or #6 binding head screws. Tighten the screws into the felt so that they don't rub the glass and scar it. Thanks for the input. I will take another look at the clips and see how these ideas work.
