The bracket on the driver side sunvisor has cracked and the visor has fallen off. This is the part that screws to the windshield moulding, and that the pivot arm attaches to.What kind of metal is this? Can this be welded together? Does anybody know of a source for this part? Thanks for any help!

The brackets are usually made of diecast pot metal. They can be welded by someone who knows how. We do it at our shop. We just welded a potmetal mirror frame for a customer. LeBaron Bonney sells visors, and may have bracket. (800/221-5408)
