Topic: 1935 Dual Gauges

  Hello everyone,

My 1935 Phaeton came equipped with the Deluxe gauges installed as I believe all the '35 Phaetons had. The Oil/Fuel gauge on the left side of the speedometer and the Temp/Amp on the right. I have noticed that the Oil/Fuel gauge's face has turned dark and hard to see. I believe this is due to the fluid in the Fuel side of the gauge causing this. Is my suspicion correct?
With all this said, I'm going to need either a new gauge or I'll need to find someone or somewhere that can restore my gauges. I would imagine it would be better to get them all done at the same time, including the Speedometer, so they'll all match. Any thoughts??

Thanks,
Kenneth

Baxter Ford in KS provides this service for some gauges.
