  Hello;
Does any body know what type of heater was an original accessory on a 1936 Coupe deluxe? and do you happen to have a picture of it ? And one more question where were the controls located for the heater, on the dash next to the radio? Thanks Andy

  Only one heater was authorized by Ford for your car. It was the hot air type and is fairly rare these days.
I'd suggest you purchase the clubs restoration manual as if my memory serves correctly, there is a decent illustration within.

  So your not sure of the manufacture and or the company that made it. I have seen a few but they are all different company's. So who was the company Ford used in 1936 coupe deluxe for there heaters?

  Seems to me the Sunday Products CO. supplied Ford with the heaters in '35 - '36. The defroster (nozzle) was an additional accessory and not normally part of the heater.
The heaters were made to Fords specifications so any after-market heater you may have come upon will not be correct.

  Do you have an early or late 36? Here are some photos of the early and late style heaters by Sunday. Also a partial view of the instructions showing the location of the heater controls on the dash.
