Hello, anyone tell me what is involved with making a '38 DeLuxe hood work on a '39 standard? Or if it is even worth considering? I have a perfect '38 DeLuxe hood and a pretty rough '39 standard hood. Any help?

Buford, While they both appear the same, there is actually quite a big difference. It would be easier to rework the '39 Standard than to modify the '38 DeLuxe to fit. Being that the '39 has a different hood prop altogether, there should be more '39 hoods undamaged than there are '38's. You might want to double check which is undamaged? I and any number of other '38 owners would gladly relieve you of the '38 hood if the price and location is right. Alan
