If u were going to test to see if starter works on the car I read somewhere to take the cable off the solenoid and without touching the end to anything, bring it down to the starter terminal and touch the terminal. No. To. Worry if you. See sparks touch and hold it there . If starter turns over it's not the starter. Make sure key is OFF Early Super Deluxe 41 Coupe
