Does anyone have a schematic of what pieces goes into making the radio antenna? Plus , is the antenna allowed to touch other metal parts ? My antenna seems to be made up of various mixed pieces so I don't know what belongs and what doesn't. Thks john Early Super Deluxe 41 Coupe

Dennis Carpenter makes an excellant replacement antenna for the 41 Ford. http://dennis-carpenter.com/radio-antenna-assembly/p/11A-18813/ The original Ford antenna should not touch any body parts or grounds. If you have the side-mount or cowl mount antenna, the shield of the cable must be grounded. Tom This message was edited by TomO on 7-8-14 @ 6:24 AM

I believe the 41 is nearly identical to the 40 in installation.

Here is the front and back page from PHILCO's Radio Service Manual for the Schematic and Installation Instructions of your radio. I may have some antenna odds and ends lying around for these Philcos, if I knew what you needed. Lincoln
