Does anyone know if the 1940 Ford Battery Gauge is repairable?
If so can someone suggest a reputable vendor

Thanks

  Try Williamson's Instruments in Arkansas (ph# 479-369-2551) or Bob's Speedometer in Michigan(ph# 800-592-9673).

Sometimes you can find ones suitable for use as replacements on eBay. I once had one with a badly faded face, and found a nice one to replace it. Getting the cluster out (and back in) can be a bit challenging, but is not really that bad a job if you don't mind working upside down. Take note of where all the wires go.

Baxter Ford in Lawrence, KS usually has good ones for sale or can repair yours.
