  I recently purchased a 1933 0r 1934 ford tudor sedan
without a grill and wonder which year car I have - I am not sure how to identify which grill goes with the car as not being sure of its year I remain puzzled, (former owner unsure as well)
are pictures available?
and what hardware is necessary for the attachments?
I do have the correct hood.
any help is appreciated

Do you have a 33 or 34 hood? The grille must go with the hood. The 33 hood has curved louvers on the side and a raised rib on the top that surrounds the radiator cap. It also on has one hood handle. The 34 hood has straight louvers, no raised rib and two hood handles. Your hood is the key to the grille.

  ok
slightly curved louvers and one handle
so its a 33
not sure what you mean by a raised rib surrounding radiator cap

This is the lip . If it is missing someone trimmed your hood to fit a 34 grille . Hoods are slightly shorter on 34's to clear the wider grille surround .

The V-8 Album gives these additional differences.

The instrument panel on the 33 is engine turned and woodgrained on the 34.The 34 has the door windows that open a little at the front for ventilation
