Topic: 1933 Ford inside firewall ?

I am trying to determine the correct routing for the wiper vacuum hose and the small tube for the gas gauge. I have the original clip for the wiring harness mounted as you can see in the photo, but there does not seem to be enough room for everything. Was there a separate clip for the gauge tube or the wiper hose or were they unsupported? Any help on this will be appeciated. A picture would be great!
Thanks,
Jim

This is a May production deluxe 5W . Dash pad has never been out and I replaced the hose by taping the new hose to the old and pulled it through . It goes behind the pad stuff and comes out by the cowl light hole . Gas line goes under the speedo cable clamp . I am clueless as to how to post more than one pic so there will be 4 separate posts .

Thanks David, I never would have guessed that the hose for the wiper ran behind the sound pad. I will have to unbolt the lower section and fish the hose into place. I did not realize there was a clip for the speedo cable but I have an extra clip that size that I did not know what it was for. Unfortunately someone else took this car apart 40 years ago so it has been a real challenge getting it together. The 33-34 Ford Restoration Manual has been terrific, but I know Cliff Helling could not cover every little detail. You have saved the day. I also have not been able to figure out how to load more than one picture per post?

Thanks again!!!
Jim

The only way to post more than one photo per post is to use an external site such as photobucket and link to the photos.

Maybe the webmaster can see if the software can be changed to allow more than one photo per post, like a lot of the other forums.
