  Hey guys

Considering changing my 37 pickup over to hydraulic breaks. What is the best way to do that and still keep the 37 wheels?

Thanks

Wade

The easiest/cheapest way is to change the backing plates to the 39-48 Ford style and use a 39 Ford clutch/brake/master cylinder assembly. Bob Drake sells new cylinder assemblies and the Early V-8 garage in Covina CA sells a kit which is claimed to involve no cutting. A better but more costly brake change is to convert to Lincoln Zephyr brakes (MT Products and Wilson Welding sell new ones). With either approacy you can use your original brake drums and wheels.
