What you are providing is the cowl code and you do not have all the numbers. RH means it was assembled at the Richmond , California assembly plant. The C75 should be C76 if it is a convertible. The actual serial # or VIN # is stamped on top of the right side angled frame brace that goes from the frame to just under the radiator to the front crossmember. In that # is engine type, B for a V-8 and H for a 6, model year 9 for 49, 0 for 50 and 1 for 51, assembly plant such as RH for Richmond, and then the numerical sequence of the assembly. This information comes from the 49-51 Ford Book that is put out by the V-8 Club. The info is on page 1-16. Look for that # on top of that angled brace or on top of the right frame rail and let us know that #.
