  The last one I got from MAPA was lacking the rubber gasket so best to check befor leaving the store.

  We buy them by the case., and they all should come with two rubber rings. Use the one that fits inside the lid of the filter body. If the rubber rings are missong, it is likely someone removed them from the box.

  If the gasket from the old filter is not usable, you're oil change was WAAAY overdue!
