I have changed from the 1935 steering box to a 1939 Ford steering box, the horn wiring is different and I want to get a 1939 and 19935 wiring diagram and to convert the 1935 wiring to suit the new 1939 box and to still have the horn button and light switch on the steering wheel working.Any helpful advise greatly apreciated.
I am a member of the Australian early Ford v/8 club.

Here is a link to Van Pelts web site with electrical schematic for most Fords 32-53.

We converted a '36 Phaeton from the stock '36 steering to '37-'39 steering. We reused the stock '36 column tube, column drop, banjo steering wheel, light switch/horn rod, and switch contact ball/can that attaches to the bottom of the steering box. We kept all the stock wiring for lights, horns, etc., and everything worked well when we finished. I am planning to do the same change on a '35 coupe and anticipate that all will work well just like it did on the '36 Phaeton.
