I'm replacing the woven brake pads and I plan on using rivets but would like to also use a glue. Can anyone recommend a good glue for this, thanks

Shoes that are bonded are done in a special press that applies heat. I wouldn't trust any off the shelf adhesive to hold safely.

No glue needed or recommended, the rivets will do the job.
