Speedway Motors has new front brake clyinders with the two different size pistons. Does anyone know if these will pass club inspection on a Rouge car?

The club does not pull wheels to look at brake cylinders. They can however see the master cylinder.

Two different size pistons in Ford wheel cylinders is normal. Be sure that you have assembled the brakes with the "forward" shoe (the long one) facing forward on each side, and the short one facing the rear. The large piston runs the long shoe, small one faces rear. We often find them backwards, which reduces braking action.

BUY the ones with the larger pistons, make sure you get 2,
these were a improvement and were used in 1942-1948 and gave better brakes ,
my 2 cents worth,37RAGTOPMAN

My interest in the Speedway cylinders is because they are priced at $50 each and sleeving costs about $75 because of the two piston sizes. The Speedway units come fully assembled with all new parts. Does anyone have experience with them?

You can get them at NAPA also. Should be about $32 each. Front cylinder numbers are #FD4502 and FD4503.
rear cylinders are FD4509 and FD4508.
