I have a new 6 Volt fuel sending unit for a 52 Ford Pick UP, Can I convert a 6 Volt fuel sending unit to 12 Vt?

There are resistors available to do this. Mac's Auto Parts has them. They are called voltage reducers. They cut the power to the instruments down to 6 volts. With this, you should be able to use your 6 volt sending units. This message was edited by cliftford on 2-26-14 @ 4:25 PM
