What is the best shop manual to purchase for 34 ford V-8 car. Manuals for general repair, brakes, electrical, engine. In learning mode on repairing many items on a 34 phaeton and 34 sedan. Any suggestions? Just plan having a good time but very frustrating when you don't no what to do on many items. Thanks Gary

Ford did not have shop manuals for the early ford era. Instead they published Service Bulletins. Get a copy of the book entitled Complete Service Bulletins for 32-37. Another good source is a Motors Repair Manual for those years. This is for drive train related items. For general items the clubs 1933 1934 Book is a great reference manual

These are pretty handy and the parts book isn't cluttered up with newer stuff . I only mess with 33-34 stuff and I also have a June 35 parts book that covers the late 34 changes as this one is better for 33's . Can't find it now in the mess though . Good info already posted so time ta shaddup

The most useful book for me is the 1934 Ford Service Instructions from MAC'S VB6 and also 1933 VB4. For the money you can't go wrong.
