Topic: 37 tudor help

I'm looking for pictures of a 37 tudor slantback rear fender well. I need a close-up of the area were the tail pan, rear fender, and tool box come together. Mine is rotted, and I want to fabricate new pieces before I try fitting my tail pan and tool box. Are there any articles in past V-8 Times issues? Any pics or help would be appreciated. My restoration is at a stand still. Thanks Bruce

Check these two websites, both are in McPherson, Kansas; www.mcphersoncollege.com and www.stellarrestorations.com. The college has courses on auto restoration and Stellar Restorations is owned by a graduate of the college. They were working on a 37 tudor about 4 years ago and replacing the tool tray and back panel. I looked a the photos of the car as I was putting a tail pan on a 37 coupe at the time. I'm sure they would be willing to give you information to help with your project. The owner of Stellar Restorations is Tim Bowers.

The Stellar restoration was a 2 door hump back, not a slantback. Not sure if the area you're inquiring about is exactly the same. I know the rear fenders are different between the slantback and humpback.
