On my 35 Ford when I apply my brakes the drivers side front always grabs first no matter how I adjust it, it is possible to just clean up the drum without removing any material? Thanks in advance

I'm assuming you have the stock mechanical brakes on your '35. The problem is more than likely caused by a lack of proper adjustment, rather than one drum. To synchronize the system, first back off the adjustment on each wheel backing plate all the way. With the wheels of the ground, remove the pin from the wheel end of each rod, then, block the brake pedal about half way down. We use a short wood between the pedal and the seat. Adjust the rod clevis at each wheel until it allows the pin to be reinstalled in the lever.. Unblock the pedal and turn the adjuster at each wheel until the lining just touches the drum as you turn the wheel. Never readjust the brakes using the rod clevis, as this puts the brakes out of balance. Finally, be sure the brake cross shaft and pivots are not worn to the place the the shaft is loose. If you follow these instructions, your car should stop well, and not pull to one side or the other.

have you looked at the brake shoes? on that wheel and look at the other front wheel for signs of grease on brake shoes, if the right is not braking then the car will pull to the left when operating the brakes
