Getting ready to install window weatherstrip (whiskers) on a 37 Tudor. Vintique kit comes with screws, staples and a strip of sticky felt. Originals were held on with some clips that pop into the holes. I had some left from one I did 25 years ago, but I can't remember the easiest way to install. Do I put the clips on the whiskers and then pop into the body? Or install clips in body then try to get the whiskers in the clips? Any help is appreciated!

I have done a number of these and have found it easier to install the clips to the body and bend them over as you place the weatherstrip in place.
