We took our '42 Tudor to a very nice event at the PA Railroad museum in Strasburg over the weekend. The museum does something called "Troops and Trains" each year in early November to honor all our veterans and groups have displays from the Civil War through Desert Storm around the trains. We had our WWII ARC Motor Corps display out with the Motor Corps medallions on the sedan and some pictures/information on exhibit. Lots of family groups came by all day most of which didn't know about the Motor Corps, or that most of the car companies stopped making cars during the war. Prime teachable moments.

They follow with a swing dance in the evening with most folks in period dress, either uniforms or '40s civies. Boy can some of these folks dance, especially some of the older veterans...

How about some pix? That museum is one of the premier railroad museums in the country.
