Can anyone help me? I live in the Philadelphia area and i'm having a hard time trying to find a shop that can rebuild the Flathead in my 50' Ford.

Lead, are you a member of the Early ford V-8 Club? if so you can contact one of the four regional groups listed in the roster for Pennsylvania. The listings are in the front of your roster. Belonging to the club and receiving the magazine and roster are a great help to anyone owning a Flathead. There's a wealth of knowledge in that roster if you have one. If you are not a member go to the front page of this site and click on Regional Club directory. This will open up a menu and give you the listings of those Regional Groups in Pennsylvania. Click on the group nearest you and you will find contact numbers. Guys in those groups will definitely know people who can rebuild a flathead.
