Topic: '41 rubber body grommets

Hi everyone. Moving along on my '41, but having a problem locating rubber "donut" type grommets to finish mounting the body and running boards to the frame. I need these for under the frame and running board brackets before the washer and nut go on. Also a couple located in the trunk. None of the kits I have ordered have these. Any ideas would be great.

C&G has these items. For the running board grommets try: 21A-16458-S. These are listed for 42 to 46 but I believe the grommets would work. For the frame: Body to Frame Pad Kit 11A-5001. Also Body to Frame Bolt Kit 51A-5000-HK. I believe Dennis Carpenter also has offerings. This should get you going. Have fun.

Thanks for the reply Joe. I have all three kits and they do not have all of the rubber that is needed. I know the '41 is a stand alone car in some ways and this must be one area. I am wondering if some '40 rubber would work. Thanks again.

The basic body sh*ll and frame on the '41 ran through the model year '48. I suspect the rubber items for those tears would be more appropriate.
