I see in the current issue of V8 Times that Dennis Carpenter has floor mate in both black and taupe for my '34 (and many others). Last I knew the floor mats were not available and the taupe was the wrong color when they were available. Assuming what I'm seeing in the Carpenter ad is something new and I'm wondering if anyone here has bought this item and can report as to it's quality. Bill Brown '34 Cabriolet

Bill: Taupe is the correct color for the 34 floor mat. later 10-35 production Ford went to Benton gray. The black front floor mat is not the correct Ford color for any of the pre war cars or pick-ups. Dennis Carpenters mats are the only ones being made.

His (Carpenter's) mats for the '39 - '40 are closer to the authentic color than ever before. Perhaps still a little too light but close, very close.
