I have a 50 ford sedan and got the car from phoenix so were in no need of a heater there. The problem is I have no idea where the wires run for the heater. Does any body know where i can find a diagram for the heater wiring? Also how does the heater hoses go since they blocked them off? Thanks for the help

Most of those heaters we have seen are simple to wire. Power is obtained from the "RA-GA" terminal on the ignition switch and goes to an in-line fuse holder. Most of these heaters draw about ten amps, so a 15 amp fuse should be ample. The circuit goes on to the heater switch on the dash, then to the heater motor. Most of those motors have two wires, one to ground with a ring terminal on the end to go under a grounding screw, with the other to the feed wire. The heater hoses are connected to nipples, one on the cylinder head, usually the right side, with the return hose to the lower radiator hose thru a nipple inserted in the hose. As often stated, heaters were usually dealer installed, so your may vary from the above.

Do you have a heater to install? Do you have a heater switch? See hose routing in the picture. What state are you in now? My 50 came from Tucson, with a heater.

The entire system is shown (page B-8 thru B-11) in The 1949-50-51 FORD Book that the V-8 club has for sale somewhere on this site.
