Hi I am looking for the rear seat for my 41 sedan coupe ( long door). I am told that the rear seats are the same from 41 to 48 Ford and Mercury . Does anybody know where I might find this ? Thanks Joe

I think I got my 48 rear seat from MAC's. You might try their catalog or web site, it should say.

Thanks for the info, didn't see anything at lebron bonney but did see the seat and backrest at macs. That is out of budget at this time though. I am looking for a used set to get recovered to match the rest of the interior.

When I ordered springs for my convertible, I was amazed that L-B had them. I didn't see the sedan coupe seats in my L-B or other catalogs, either, I consulted my 44-52 body parts catalog. It appears the the same rear seat, 51A-7260080, is used in the tudor and fordor models 46-48. My catalog doesn't go back to '41, but I suspect that the seats from the other closed cars may fit. My 41-48 Club book doesn't mention the seats, other than coverings, for your 72B sedan coupe. While L-B doesn't appear to have them, a call to ask about whether that seat is different from the other closed cars could narrow down your search. Many more two and four door cars were built, and if the seats interchange, it would make the quest easier. their phone number is 1-800-221-5408. Joe, The 1941 Ford Sedan Coupe can use a rear seat from any 1941-48 Ford or Mercury Sedan Coupe only. The 1941-48 Tudor and Fordor Sedan Ford or Mercury used the same rear seat. You can not use a Tudor or Fordor rear seat in a Sedan Coupe. The basic part number for the rear seat back is 7260032 for the Sedan Coupe. The basic part number for the lower seat cushion is 7260080 for the Sedan Coupe. The basic part number for the rear seat back is 7060032 for the Tudor and Fordor Sedan. The basic part number for the lower seat cushion is 7060080 for the Tudor and Fordor Sedan. You may be able to get a Sedan Coupe rear seat from Mark Kicsak whose phone number is 607-729-1693 as he parts out and sells these parts from 1941-48 Ford and Mercury cars. Just be aware that Mark is probably vending at Hershey this week. Fred Killian
