Topic: 1941 Cooling

Comments from The Forum have helped me drop the 41's running temperatures. I notice that 46-48's have a radiator shroud upper panel and wonder if anyone has a template to fabricate one for a 41? Or, other recommendation?
Many Thanks.

Some of the hot rod shops sell a deflector for '40 Fords, but I think '41s are a different animal. I have a '46 and a friend has a '48 and he did not have the upper deflector and always had cooling issues, he purchased a deflector from Bob Drake and his problems went away. The more air you can get across your radiator the better. Any sheet metal shop can probably fabricate one for you if you can't do it yourself.
