What color should the seat frame be that goes between the bottom of the seat and the the seat track? I know the seat track is a zinc finish.

Seat frame? What exactly do you mean by "seat frame"? All of the track assembly was either zinc or cadmium plated. The small spring at the lever was left in its natural finish. The large springs on each side of the tracks had a black oxide appearance. The lever (handle) was nickle plated. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

Kubes40, I have two assemblies on the bottom of the bench cushion, one bolts directly to the bottom of the bench (the one in question,) I then have a track that the bolts to the frame mentioned above. I must be having an "off day" as I can't picture two assemblies. Still, I can say for certain that ALL parts of the track system were either cadmium or zinc plated per drawings. With the exceptions of the previous noted pieces... Do you have a picture perhaps? You can email me direct if you like. kubes40@att.net
