I was having trouble with the OD failing to re-engage after driving the car for 15-20 miles. After a time it would work again until the next journey. I was thinking the solenoid was bad. After posting on this forum, Ken Bounds, Pres. of EFV-8 Club called me telling me he had the same problem with his Cestliner 5 years ago. He had learned a fix for the problem from another member. The rivets in the back of the relay get corrosion under them and contact is not good. Soldering the rivet heads to the plate under them fixed the problem for him. After doing this to mine and 120 miles and 3 trips of the weekend it works great.....I'm hoping this ends the problems, at least for now. Thanks for the input on the matter.
