Go to NAPA and ask for a Dayco PN: 22528 I have had one on my '41 for 6 years with no problem or wear.

On ebay right now is a NOS Ford script belt. Doesn't get any better than that! 350839310664 eBay item number:

The Gates Web site listed two different belts for a 1940 V8 60hp car : 3 1/4 dia. gen pulley TR20451 3 3/4 dia. gen pulley TR24465 Good Luck, Charlie
