just got my pumps back from Skip. The car (1936)originally had antifreeze in it and have read the threads on this forum and I guess most of you use water, water pump lub and radiator relief mixture. Will this work in Las Vegas when it is 110 outside?

If you live in an area where freezing is not a problem, use demineralized water with anti rust. All antifreeze is less efficient that just water. If the ambient temp is above 100, use water, by all means. I don't use "water wetter" , but others swear by it.

I like to use distilled water and a water pump lube in a freshly rebuilt engine until certain that there are no coolant leaks into the engine. My main reason for using the water pump lube is gain the anti-rust function in the absence of anti-freeze. Once certain that there are no internal coolant leaks, I drain the coolant and install a 50/50 mixture of Ethylene Glycol anti-freeze and distilled water. This allows you to drive the car almost anywhere without fear of freeze up and engine or cylinder head cracking. Distilled water and water pump lube will work fine in Las Vegas as long as it never gets below freezing there.

If you do decide to use a antifreeze, I suggest you use Animal friendly propylene glycol(one brand name is Sierra) not etheylene glycol.Available at NAPA, a little more expensive but safer for dogs and other small animals including Kids. They both taste very sweet.Also Ethylene Glycol will destroy any babbit bearings like poured main bearings found in some 36 and all 35 and back original engines.
