The day started cool and sunny. Great flathead weather. We (the Twin Cities Regional Group) got picked up at our Chippewa Falls hotel by the Cross Country group and 25 cars headed to Bruce WI - Home of Jerry and Cheryl Reichel. Now, I have to tell you -- Jerry and Cheryl are well known in Bruce. They have relatives everywhere and we had late breakfast/early lunch at Jerry's sister's cafe. It was standing room only!!! Afterwards, we said our goodbyes as the Cross Country group headed toward Iron Mountain MI for the night. Others in the CC Group headed across WI toward IN and OH and home. The Twin Cities Regional Group headed west toward MN and another collection. When they turned off, I continued on west because I needed to get home. I do have to hand it to them. Bill Simons (49 Woody) said he was 200 miles short of 6000 when he left the group on Monday. It will be over 7000 by the time he gets home to Maine. The rest have similar numbers -- and as I heard, wonderful adventures on the TOUR OF A LIFE TIME!!!
