I have heard Ford made these, but I haven't ever seen one in person. I have a Club Coupe..and was wondering if there are pictures of them on these cars...would love to find one.

Hopefully shown is a picture of a 1937 Ford accessory trunk rack. It was a NOS trunk rack that in the picture is missing the stainless spear shape mouldings.I only had this on my coupe for a short time and eventually sold it. The rack is a nice to look at accessory I guess but would make more sense on a cabriolet or roadster with a rumble seat, not a trunk. Everytime you want to get into trunk you have to fold rack down and bend over the rack to access trunk, tough on an old back. These show up on Ebay now and then,a lot of times NOS,but mostly without the mounting brackets and be aware there were two types of mounting hardware for coupes and cabriolets and also sedans. The stainless mouldings are very hard to find but I made mine from a 35 or 36 Ford hood side moulding, forget which, cut to length and reformed spear shaped ends.

thanks for the pictures. I am still on the fence on whether I want a truck rack. do you remember the dimensions of the rack? how different is it to the '36 racks? my uncle has a couple nice trunks, but not sure of the size of the racks. thanks
